I know you have a need. Perhaps you’re pushing in prayer for promotion. Maybe you’re in ministry and need the breakthrough you’ve been believing for. It could be that you’re lonely, or broke, or really hurting.
God always has the answer. However, His ways are not our ways. God’s ways are higher and His methods are better. When God sees our need, He often hides the answer in a seed. Let me explain what I mean.
HIDDEN ANSWERS
Recently I was asking the Lord for a breakthrough. It had been promised and I had been praying but I hadn’t seen the answer I was seeking. Moments after I said, “amen”, I received an email. I was hoping the email was the answer. Instead it was a request. Someone was asking me for help.
At first I felt frustrated because I didn’t feel equipped to meet their need. I carefully considered how I could help and decided to reply offering support. As I pressed send, God spoke: “I sent you a seed. Now you can expect your harvest.”
Joy flooded my heart as I realized that the request for help was a heavenly set-up! Galatians 6:7 says, “…Whatsoever a man sows, that will he also reap.” The email was my answer.
OPENING HEAVEN
When we sow something into someone else’s life, we place a demand on heaven to bring us our harvest. I want to encourage you right now to think about the seeds that God has given you.
Perhaps a friend needs a new job. How can you sow into their promotion? It might be by praying or it could be by buying them a new tie for the interview. Maybe you’re lonely. Who do you know that needs a friend?
STRATEGY FOR SUCCESS
Right from the beginning God revealed His strategy for our success: seedtime and harvest (Genesis 8:22). Yes we need to pray. Of course we must believe. But at the same time, we should always sow a seed. It could be your time. It might be your prayers. Maybe it’s a gift.
When we sow our seed in faith, believing that we serve the Lord of the harvest, we can be assured that we will reap in due season. Look again at your needs and instead of seeking your answer, search for a seed.
When we do it God’s way, we take our eyes off ourselves and step out in love. Not only do we get our own answers, but we get to meet someone’s else’s needs on the way. If you enjoyed this, please hit the heart button at the top of this blog.
Sé que tienes una necesidad. Quizá estás empujando en oración por una promoción. O estás en el ministerio y necesitas un rompimiento el cual has estado creyendo. Puede que te sientas solo o estés en bancarrota o realmente herido.
Dios siempre tiene la respuesta. Pero, sus caminos no son nuestros caminos. Los caminos de Dios son más altos y Sus métodos son mejores. Cuándo Dios ve nuestra necesidad muy a menudo El esconde la respuesta en una semilla. Permíteme explicarte a lo que me refiero.
RESPUESTAS ESCONDIDAS
Recientemente le estaba pidiendo a Dios por un rompimiento. Había una promesa y yo estaba orando, pero todavía no había había visto la respuesta que estaba buscando. Momentos después dije “amén” y recibí un correo electrónico. Estaba esperando que el correo electrónico fuera la respuesta. Pero no fue así fue una petición. Alguien me estaba pidiendo ayuda.
Al principio me sentí frustrada porque no me sentía capaz de poder llenar esa necesidad. Meticulosamente consideré cómo podía ayudarlos y decidí contestar ofreciendo apoyo. Mientras presionaba, Dios hablo: “te envío una semilla, ahora puedes esperar una cosecha.”
Gozo sobreabundó en mi corazón mientras me daba cuenta que la petición de ayuda era una respuesta del cielo ! Gálatas 6:7 dice, “… lo que el hombre sembrare, eso cosechará.” El correo electrónico era mi respuesta.
CIELOS ABIERTOS
Cuándo sembramos algo en la vida de alguien más, ponemos una demanda en el cielo que nos trae nuestra cosecha. Quiero animarte en este momento a que pienses en la semillas que Dios te ha dado.
Quizá un amigo necesita un nuevo trabajo. Como sembrarías para tu promoción? Puedes orar o puedes comprar una nueva corbata para suentrevista. Pueda que te sientas solo. A quien conoces que necesita de un amigo?
ESTRATEGIA PARA EL ÉXITO
Desde el principio Dios reveló su estrategia para nuestro éxito: la semilla y las cosechas en (Génesis 8:22). Si necesitamos orar. Claro que necesitamos creer. Pero al mismo, tiempo debemos sembrar una semilla. Puede ser nuestro tiempo. Puede ser nuestras oraciones. Puede ser un regalo.
Cuándo sembramos nuestra semilla en fe, creemos que el servir al Señor de la cosecha nos asegura, que vamos a recoger en el tiempo correcto. Mira una vez más a todas tus necesidades y en lugar de buscar una respuesta, busca una semilla.
Cuándo lo hacemos a la manera de Dios, quitamos nuestra vista de nosotros mismos y tomamos un paso de amor. No sólo vamos a recoger nuestra respuesta sino que también vamos a proveer las necesidades de alguien más en el camino. Si disfrutaste esto, por favor presiona el corazón al principio de este blog.
Loved this message! Looking back (hindsight being such a wonderful thing!) I’ve seen where I have sown (often sacrificially) be it financially, time, assistance and Father God has been faithful! Down the line, He’s blessed me, very often during a time of huge need or/& weariness and I’ve sometimes been able to trace it back to the seed sowing. Although I have to admit, sometimes I don’t even realise that my prayers have been answered! Sometimes I’m so caught up with what’s going on or I’d expected my prayers to be answered in a certain way that I’ve almost missed it!
