This has been a tough time for everyone. It’s been a wilderness season where promises have seemed far off and life has felt dry. The bible says that every season has a purpose. Whenever God has a plan, the enemy also has an opposing plot.
Let’s look at what the devil wants to accomplish in your life in this time and then we will discover what God wants to achieve.
1. Satan’s Plan
Ps 95:8 says, “Do not harden your hearts as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.” The enemy wants you to harden your heart in this trial. He wants you to harden towards people and he wants you to toughen towards God.
A heart heart feels cold & closed, it makes us indifferent. It also causes us to complain which makes things even worse: “When the people complained, it displeased the Lord; for the Lord heard it & His anger was aroused.” Num 11:1
It’s too easy to harden inside when times are tough. But hardening never helps. In fact, a hard heart is a big problem and it was hardness of heart that got the Israelites into trouble.
Ps 95:10b explains, “I was grieved with that generation & said, ‘It is a people who go astray in their hearts & they do not know My ways.’ So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest.”
The people of Israel did not receive their promises because they became hard. Satan’s plan for this season is to make you harden and prevent you from entering your purpose.
2. God’s Plan
The good news is that God has a great plan for your life for this season. The devil wants to prevent you but God wants to prepare you for your purpose.
Deut 8:2 says, “The Lord led you these 40 yrs in the wilderness to humble you, test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep His commandments…”
The Lord is looking at our hearts. When we are proud, we become hard and harsh, we want our way. When we are humble, we give up our rights and privileges and become a servant.
True humility is when we know our great worth as sons of God but choose to become a servant of God. Humility is not low self-esteem, it is laying down our rights and privileges out of love.
God promotes and favors the humble of heart. Allow this wilderness to be a time of preparation for the greatest season of your life which lies ahead.

Este ha sido un tiempo difícil para todos. Una estación de desierto que donde las promesas parecen estar lejos y la vida se siente seca.
La Biblia dice que cada estación tiene un propósito. Cuando Dios tiene un plan, también el enemigo tiene una trama opuesta.
Vamos a descubrir lo que el enemigo quiere conseguir de usted en esta estación y después descubriremos lo que Dios quiere alcanzar.
- EL PLAN DE SATANAS
Salmo 95:8 “No endurezcáis vuestro corazón, como en Meriba, Como en el día de Masah en el desierto,”
Un corazón duro se siente frío y cerrado, nos hace diferentes. Nos empuja a la queja, que hace todo peor. “Aconteció que el pueblo se quejó a oídos de Jehová; y lo oyó Jehová, y ardió su ira, y se encendió en ellos fuego de Jehová, y consumió uno de los extremos del campamento.”Números
Es muy fácil endurecerse en lo profundo cuando los tiempos son difíciles. Pero el ser duro no ayuda. Es más, un corazón duro es un problema grande, la dureza de corazón le causo muchos problemas a los israelitas.
Salmo 95:10 “Cuarenta años estuve disgustado con la nación, Y dije: Pueblo es que divaga de corazón, Y no han conocido mis caminos.”
El pueblo de Israel no recibió la promesa porque endurecieron su corazón. El plan de satanas es que endurezcas tu corazón y retenerte a que no entres en tu propósito.
- EL PLAN DE DIOS
La buena noticia es que Dios tiene un plan para nosotros en esta estación. El diablo quiere retenernos pero Dios quiere prepararnos para su propósito.
Deuteronomio 8:2: “Y acordarte has de todo el camino por donde te ha traído Jehová tu Dios estos cuarentaaños en el desierto, para afligirte, por probarte, para saber lo que estaba en tu corazón, si habías de guardar ó no sus mandamientos.“
El Señor mira en nuestro corazón. Cuando somos orgullosos, nos convertimos duros y ásperos, queremos las cosas a nuestra manera. Cuando somos humildes, soltamos nuestros derechos y privilegios y nos convertimos en siervos. Verdadera humildad es cuando conocemos nuestra gran valía como hijos De Dios pero escogemos ser siervos de El. Humildad no es baja autoestima, es entregar nuestros privilegios y derechos por amor.
Dios promueve y favorece a los de corazón humilde. Permítele a este desierto a que sea tu temporada de preparación para lo que viene que es grande.
Porque no preguntarle al Espíritu Santo que escudriñe tu corazón. Pregúntale si te has endurecido en esta estación. El puede suavizar tu corazón y hacerlo humilde.
