As I was praying, the Lord prompted me to check my phone. The time was 00:00 and I heard the word, “Reset”. Has your phone ever slowed down? The answer is often a reset: switch it off, count to ten, then switch it back on.
This year has been tough and most of us have been weighed down. I believe the Lord wants you to reset ready for the season ahead. In order to workout how, we need go back to the beginning.
BACK TO THE BEGINNING
In Gen 1:26-28, God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion… over all the earth… So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him… Then God blessed them, and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion…”
God’s plan right from the start was that you would be blessed and fruitful. And He gave you dominion and authority in your life. But your authority flows from your identity.
Imagine Adam and Eve hearing these words for the very first time. They will have been looking at their loving Creator as He declared this blessing over their lives.
They had never experienced any pain or put down. Nothing had ever been done or said to make them doubt their value. So it will have been easy for them to believe that they were made to lead.
WHAT ABOUT YOU?
You were made just like your amazing Maker. Notice that God repeated this several times in the verses above! You are unique which means you reflect a unique aspect of God.
When you arise, that unique aspect of God is revealed to the world. The Lord wants you to rise up, be fruitful and fulfill your God-given destiny.
However, if you doubt yourself or feel inferior, if you think you’re not good enough, this will limit your life. Proverbs 23:7 says, “As a man thinks in his heart, so is he…”
YOUR VIEW MATTERS
Your deep down view of your worth affects your entire life whether you realize it or not. But the more you fix your eyes on your Heavenly Father, the more you will understand your real worth.
The first step of reset is to take your eyes off the chaos. Take your eyes off others and look into the loving eyes of your Lord and Savior. Refuse to focus on the mess and instead focus on your amazing Maker.
As I shared in Don’t Waste the Wilderness, God is using this season to do a wonderful work in your heart. He is preparing you for your destiny. The 2nd step of reset is to ask the Lord to cleanse your heart of everything that has defiled.
Let’s join King David & pray, “Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.” Ps 51:10 He will wipe away the debris of 2020 and then fill us afresh with His Spirit.

Mientras oraba, el Señor me guió a mirar mi reloj en el celular. La hora decía 00:00 y escuche una voz que dijo reiniciar. Alguna ves su celular se ha puesto lento? La respuesta es reiniciar: apágalo cuenta a 10 y enciéndelo otra vez.
Este año ha sido difícil y muchos están cargados. Creo que el Señor quiere que te reinicies para la nueva temporada que viene. Para saber como, necesitamos volver al principio.
En Gen 1:26-28 “Entonces dijo Dios: Hagamos al hombre a nuestra imagen, conforme a nuestra semejanza; y señoree ….en toda la tierra… Y creó Dios al hombre a su imagen, a imagen de Dios lo creó; varón y hembra los creó. Y los bendijo Dios, y les dijo: Fructificad y multiplicaos; llenad la tierra, y sojuzgadla, y señoread…”
El plan de Dios desde el principio era que fueses bendito y fructífero. Te dio domino y autoridad sobre tu vida. Pero tu autoridad fluye de tu identidad.
Imagínate a Adan y Eva escuchar estas palabras por primera vez. Ellos miraron al rostro del amoroso creador mientras bendecía sus vidas.
Ellos no habían experimentado dolor ni rechazo. No habían experimentado nada negativo que les hiciera dudar de su identidad. Así que era fácil para ellos creer que nacieron para liderar.
Y USTED QUE?
Fuiste creado a imagen de el maravilloso creador. Nota que el lo repite varias veces en los versos mencionados anteriormente. Eres único, lo que significa que reflejas características únicas de El.
Cuando te levantas ese aspecto único se manifiesta al mundo. El Señor quiere que te levantes y seas líder en tu destino profético.
Sin embargo si dudas o te sientes inferior, limitas tu vida. Prov 23:7 dice “porque cuál es en su pensamiento en su corazón, tal es el…”
Tu valía interna afecta toda tu vida sea que lo reconozca o no. Pero entre más fijes tu mirada en el Padre celestial más descubrirás tu inmensa valía.
El primer paso es reiniciar tu mirada lejos del caos. Quita tus ojos de los demás y enfócate en la mirada de nuestro amoroso Señor y Salvador. Rehusa enfocarte en el desorden más enfócate en tu creador.
Cuando compartí “ NO DESPERDICIES TU DESIERTO” Dios está usando esta estación para trabajar en tu corazón. Te esta preparándote para tu destino. El 2do pasó es pedirle al Señor que limpie tu corazón de todo lo que ha manchado tu vida.
Unámonos al rey David en esta oración: “Crea en mí, oh Dios, un corazón limpio, Y renueva un espíritu recto dentro de mí.”Salmos
