TOO TIRED | MUY CANSADA

By 6th November 2020 Uncategorised

Has being tired become normal? When challenges are coming from every direction, it can wear you down. However, God does not want you to be weary.

Doing the will of God should not drain us. Jesus said, “My burden is light and my yoke is easy.” Fulfilling our purpose should energize not exhaust. Here are 3 steps to getting refreshed.

1. OFFLOAD YOUR BURDENS

Matthew 11:28- says: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” When we are spent or flagging, Jesus says something like this, “Come and spend some time in My presence. Offload on Me and then I will fill you up afresh.”

If you’re weary, set some time aside to pray. Tell the Lord how you feel and what’s made you weary. Pour out your frustrations and irritations. Tell Him about any sadness or disappointments.

Then just linger for a while in His presence. Ask God to fill you afresh with His Spirit and revive you from the inside out. There’s no sweeter time to be replenished than when we are weary. He wants to breathe new life into your heart and refresh your soul.

2. CHANGE YOUR MIND

Galatians 6:9 says: “And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” This verse tells us that weariness is (in part) a choice. After we have been refilled, we need to choose a new attitude.

The second half of that verse in the amplified says, “Do not loosen and relax your courage and faint.” We need to kick every discouragement and take courage. The best way to build yourself up is to remind yourself of His promises to you.

Get hold of God’s word and speak strength to yourself: “I can do all things through Christ, God is faithful and He will make a way where there seems to be no way, God’s highest plans and purposes for my life shall come to pass!”

3. KEEP THE COURSE

This journey through life is a marathon, not a sprint. That’s why we need resilience. Once you have reminded yourself of God’s promises, go back to the things that you know God has called you to do.

For example, read the Bible, share your testimony, send a word of encouragement to a friend, get back into that book. Do something that you know you are called to do. Doing the will of God always breathes life into our lives.

Dios no te quiere fatigado.

Manifestar tu propósito debería energizarte no cansarte. Te comparto 3 pasos para refrescarte:

  1. SUELTA TU CARGA

I needed this, great message. The last week I felt so depleted at the prospect of another lockdown and it has already had its challenges, but a reminder to give it to Jesus, be refilled and refreshed by the Holy Spirit, and continue the race. Father God has done so much, has been so good to me during this challenging season, it can be all too easy to take my eyes off Jesus and get distracted by the Storm. Thank you Pastor Jo. God bless you and yours’ richly.
